My name is AZAM - @ azamwild - a Kuala Tahan (Taman Negara) born tourist guide regestred with Malaysia Ministry of Culture, Art & Tourism. (Reg. No: TG 3091) I'm proud to tell everybody that I was born in a small Kampong (Village) at a border of the world's oldest tropical rainforest. I've involved in tourism for more than 15 years. I was an Information Officer & Co-ordinator from a wilderness camp before being a tour leader for Stockholm based tour operator "Las och Res". Going on fishing, rafting, trekking, mountain climbing, cave exploring & other adventure activity have been part of my daily activities since I was only a small boy.Trekking in deep tropical rainforest has been my passion since childhood & I'm experience in guiding. I'm still active as a guide and organizing a few days treks into Taman Negara's and other jungles. Based on this fact, I set up the Green Park Guesthouse - to meet the increasing demanding of lodging facilities in Jerantut as travellers / backpackers need accommodation & information before getting to Taman Negara. Here I provide services such as application for Taman Negara entry permit, boat ticket, land transfer to jetty, room reservation in Taman Negara, guided trips, booking of bus & train tickets.
